Primary Olympics

Today the kids participated in the Primary Olympics and they had a great time! It was nice that the Nursery kids were invited and Cam & Car fit right in with all the older kids who do a good job looking out for the younger kids! The first event was a steed race... Cameron was hilarious... he would stop every bit and knock the horse into each pole as he passed it... not quite sure what he was doing, but he was very serious about the race. Carolyn got the job done!

I thought this was a great shot of the kids playing the ball/volleyball. It was so hot today (over 100) so we were lathered in sunscreen and hats. Cameron wears his so low, it's a wonder he can see anything.

Carolyn is a little under the weather (she has my cold... sorry, Car) and she was content to hang out with me most the time. Cameron on the other hand... he is all about the sports. He ran the 50 yard dash about 6 times... and that was after a few times with his "steed"! He was having so much fun and trying his hardest to run, it was so fun to watch him! Boy do I love these little kids!!!

Here are all the Gold Winners! They were happy to be eating Otter Pops!

So cute! I'm glad they had a good time and I'm so thankful you got some photo's of the event! I mean, good heavens it was the Primary Olympic--you should be paid for your work--but we are on a tight budget!!! Thanks for supporting. My boys got the biggest kick out the the pictures tonight!;) Thanks!

Way cute! Your ward is very creative and that is awesome that they invited the nursery kids! Jordan and I teach nursery and we tried to take the kids on a walk and they wouldn't cooperate... It could have something to do with the fact that they are all around the 18 month age and not really any towards the 3 year age. I love the little kids though!
